| I've mentioned before, in the thread of our introduction, i had problems with the engine and had to change cilinderhead and turbo, After that the engine was still runnung hot. As you can think, i got really worried. A tuningspecialist suggested timing could be wrong. So i decided to let the distribution belt be changed: It helped, but not enough. Getting really in despair wë've changed the fueldistributionpump and after that also the 1,5 year old radiator. Well this seemed enough, doen't run hot anymore, Tomorrow both discbrakes on the rearaxle will be changed completly, and on to the MOT the same day. Hopefully car is technically ready by the evening Cross my fingers | |

| Ah, the joys of Land Rover ownership. Maybe swimming with it wasn't such a good idea after all. | |

| Car ready for his MOT. Was a very simple problem. The relais had a little oxidation, cleaned it and'I've light again. Up to the rest of my work, have to install a Mudstuff console, new radio and multi cd player, terratrip, cb and 6 lights. More fun | |

| Ah, but the latest work isn't essential - radio/cd/terratrip/cb/extra lights. What am I talking about? Of course they are essentials! Just the same as horns and sirens are - you got any 'extras' cardan? | |

I guess you refer to the avatarpicture. That was indeed a very bad idea: first i'm hooked to the mud since that day, second it costed me my engine in the long run, as the radiator got full off mud and i didn't notice the motor was running hot. After driving for half an hour and having lost 7,5 l of my coolingflued i noticed the engine was overheated. It lasted another 2 years, but then all the compression was lost. | |

| No. 1 priority after playing in the mud, check the radiator. Guess i should have mentioned that previously. What's that ... a 3 inch extension? A word of warning with horns - a relay is a must as the run through Calais always sees horns giving up halfway through town. Ebay is good for multi-tone horns and sirens. Between us we tend to make a hell of a lot of noise! | |

| Instead of extracting the urine, just you channel your energy into fire prevention of the Pink Machine. By the way, you got a new song this year to play over the airwaves? First it was "Monstar coming over the hill", then that 'dink dink' song that sounded Japanese but turned out it was Scandinavian - now what? Here, I've got one for you. It's a 70's hit by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Mmmmmm, seem to have forgotten the name? | |
