Have you met up with any Landy Rallyiers on your travels?

In Rugby with the Firestarter today seeking out a wheel for a trailer when Kieran pointed over the road and said, "That looks just like Vanessa from Landy Rally 2008". She pointed back when she saw the orange glow across the street. Of course it was Lady V from Team 'Hard to Handle' (part of the Get Lost Crew), so we just had to all go for a coffee.

She's well, just started a new job with Cancer Research UK as a fund-raiser. Loves it by all accounts. Good for her, nice girl!

Not met any recently but wouldn't mind meeting up with Jon from Venture Overland when he arrives at his next destination ! It s got to be warmer than here !

On Sunday I met up with 2 strange geezers driving a Landy and towing (swaying) a Range Rover Ambulance :?:

They tried to convince me that they where driving to Calais that evening, but there are a lot of pubs between Wales and Calais!

Apparently these two strange men have been seen at various locations between Nuneaton, Welshpool, Leatherhead, Dover, Calais and back to Welshpool. Mostly towing something or other. Rumour has it the towing vehicle got a bit fed up and decided it wasn't going to do the last 30 miles or so !

Captain Chaos was very confused that day I have to say, for it was the first ever time we've met up and it didn't turn into a full blown session. Hmmmmm, gotta say that makes two of us!
