| I believe that Tom is picking me up en route to the ferry. Which will also be the first time we have met, so that's sure to be an eventful journey. ? Sure Cadarn a beer is bound to go down well, probably followed by a few more. | |

| You sure have guts to start an event like this, joining a perfect stranger.
We'll meet in Henk's pub, so beer enough. See you soon Jaap

Wow. I'm going to have to print and frame that. McGu praising an oil burner? How bizarre!

| Well I've been gone and done it now, for instead of the 3.9 V8 that Kieran and I installed in the Range Rover ambulance/soon-to-be-camper (well, maybe not that soon), there is a 300 Tdi currently residing in the engine bay. What have I done? | |

| Hi Jon
Welcome on board !
My advice is get lots of sleep before you set off cos you'll not get much until that Calais campsite ! Look forward to meeting you next week.

| Arrgghhh!!! The very thought Oh go on then, another excuse to roll out 'that' photo ... That's a Nissan Patrol that went swimming, Tuggy trying to winch him in, and yours truly acting as a ground anchor. Yes, he managed to get back in before the tide engulfed him totally. | |
