| Well, Tom, this must be the earliest entry ever. Good to here the whole Johnson family will be there. James entering too? Will have to stand some hard nights again next year Definitly need that partytent. have to repar it first, but that's not as much work as Marc's engine I hope. | |

| I'm not sure about Kieran as the rally clashes with the Peterborough show which was Kieran's most profitable show this year . I think he would like to join us though.
However we do need to get an engine back into the Frontera soon otherwise we'll need another Lenny as Marc will have worn that out travelling to Sheffield several times a week !

| Being the last Landy Rally, Kieran can hardly miss it. Already heard him say enter somewhere along the way. Second best option. But would be real nice to have him in the Rally | |

| If you chance the dates to one week later I suppose you get in trouble with Abbingdon? | |

| Well, best you discuss this with Tom. If it costs a lot of teams, this date is not the best one. | |

| The main reason for starting Landy Rally on a Saturday used to be because it was 7 day event; now it's 9 days it is not relevant.
The second reason was - the lack of trucks and traffic in general on a Saturday as opposed to a weekday. The run from Valkenburg to Feldrich is a lot more pleasant with less traffic.
This said, I see no reason LR`11 couldn't be started Tuesday 13th September and finish on Wednesday 22nd September 2011 - this way we can fit in Peterborough and Abingdon.
What does everyone think about this option?

| This could be a problem: 2 weeks off, instead of one | |

| Don't see why as nowadays Landy Rally eats into two weeks anyway. May be even better for those with 'real jobs' as these new proposed dates would go from weekend to weekend; surely if anything, that would be better? | |

From a work perspective... you are looking EXISTING STYLE - FRI off back to work on TUE... 7 days vac NEW PLAN 9 days vac Bottom line existing we are using 2 weekends (SAT SUN) for the landy rally... new plan we would be just using one. I get paid for my work so would be 2 days worse off as I assume most would (or they eat into holiday time) Additionally if we finish WED... THU is written off as counted above.. then back to work FRI ??? then SAT SUN OFF which is a pig from a consistency perspective but could be a better recovery from the rally. I guess you are weighing up those who work the weekends vs those who work mon-fri.

| Well, to be honest, for me it doesn't make a difference. For our Chef however it would make a big difference if he looses only one weekend. As the weekend is the time to make the money in a pub. So new dates seems to fit us | |
