| Well, the good news is that we have a new vehicle. Its an TD5 110 Double Cab XS. Very nice and tidy. The bad news is this: 1. The prepared 90 now has to be sold. 2. The new vehicle is in showroom condition with no additional bells or whistles and so I need to get busy preparing and have no more money and very little free time between now and the 14th September!! The roofrack is being collected at Billing and the list thats currently a mile long needs to be done after billing but before the Peterborough show... Ho hum. Life would be boring if everything was easy and straight forward! | |

| Hi Jon
I may have missed the explanation somewhere in the forum, but why did you need a new vehicle? The 90 looked ace at Manby. Will you be able to use some of the equipment from the 90 on the new 110?
We seem to spend a lot of time transferring bits between our Rangie, 90 and Disco - but never seem to get rid of any of them! They're all project vehicles apparently!! :!:

| Lu, I didnt need to replace the 90 because there is anything wrong with it... Far from it. However, my nephew now likes coming out and about with us and I dont like the dog inside the 90...
110 DC fits the bill perfect - or it will do before long. Ive now got 2 more seats (3rd extra is coming out to make way for a permanent fridge - I know you'll like that idea!!!) and the pickup bit is a luxury mobile home for the dog! Several thousand pounds later et voila!!
So the race is now on to take a bog standard (all be it an XS version) DC and give it a special feel before the show in Peterborough. :face:

| Excellent! Sorry I was just being nosey! Yes, I do like the idea of the fridge - we decided at Manby that wanting a fridge wasn't just a girlie thing, but stroking it definately was !!! :queen: Lu :bom: | |

| Got to say it was one thing I didn't check out, but at the first overnight stop in Luxembourg I noticed a fridge/freezer in the 'common area' for use by the campers. If this is common practice at campsites, I may well take 3 or 4 blue freezer packs and whack them into thier freezer upon arrival so next day I'll have a head start for my struggling Halfords 35 litre. I tell you, there is nothing like a chilled orange/lemon/Red Bull/coke/whatever by day, not to mention a cold tinnie come evening. | |

| Well the transformation is about to begin...
At Billing, Lee from CustomVinyl is going to work his magic. and my roof rack should be ready for collection... Then I jsut need to get it anodised... black and silver if all goes to plan.
After Billing and when I get a few hours the batteries and split charge system has to be transplanted, followed by the Lightforce lights.
I also need to figure out how to best permenantly house the fridge. I think a back seat has to go! If anyone breaks down en-route and they need the missing seat, they can go on the roof. I'll take a few spare ratchet straps just in case!! Dont say i dont think of you all!!
