| Hi Lu & Tweedie, Hope all is well, and thanks for asking. Currently;  in Poitiers at the moment, why? The gearbox mainshaft made a bid for freedom on the way through here  . Did this part of my route; Calais-Dijon-Lausanne-Monaco-Nice-Antibes-Cannes-Avignon-Orange-Ardeche Gorge-Millau-Bordeaux Thankfully; for some unknown reason, I choose to miss out Andorra-Spain and decided to go from Millau-Bordeaux instead, otherwise I'd probably be in Andorra now. Have to say the RAC have been brilliant so far, paying for hotel/breakfast and taxis, so far. Currently awaiting their decision to repatriate me back to Le Havre. I don't live far from there. It looks like the RAC will give me a car to get back to UK, and they'll transport the Landy back in a couple of weeks, as their unable to fix it here.
Will find out tomorrow, if all goes smoothly.

| Gutted! You were doing well! I hope it's all sorted and doesn't leave a huge hole in the pocket.  We did the whole Landy Rally route, then managed to break the gearbox on the Disco going to college a week later! That was the mainshaft too. We bought a second hand box and T fitted it on the drive!  T and Lu :bom: | |
