Hi All,
And a happy new year. I am off to egypt in 10 days. Plenty of driving in the desert to get to some remote temples and pyramids of the black pharoahs in the sudan.

Hi and a happy new year to you both.

I go to egypt every year and have met many spitting camels. However i do not recommend long journeys on them! i once did a 4 day trek on one it was a bas****. This is the last year for my dissertation for my doctorate in egyptology. The thing we do for fun hey!

Hi Tony, happy new year. Like Kieran I am also jealous of your adventure - while we don't hvae exams we do still have to work. I have been on a camel also though only for a short time no where near 4 days, and you're right they are not comfortable, but are they better or worse than the Monstar 90 ? I'm not sure
