It looks as if there will be at least three LPG vehicles taking part in LR'08.
LPG is widely available on the Continent. 'Badger' the Event Manager, ran a Range Rover P38 in LR`07 and he had no problem at all finding gas stations.
If you should stumble across any decent websites about LPG and Continental motoring, please please use this thread to inform other teams. Meanwhile, a quick but important warning:
It is not possible to refuel a LPG-converted vehicle at a German CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) refuelling station.
The Pressure for CNG is 200 bar, this is to high for LPG-Cars! To fill an LPG-converted vehicle with CNG can be really dangerous, especially if your tank has no security valve (25 bar). Two explosions have taken place at German fuel stops in recent times, so take note!
Avoid CNG refuelling stations in Germany, these are not for LPG vehicles!
