We haiv to be at the ferry aboot the 1300hr mark so my times, (thanx Auto-Route) are as follows.

Winchester to Dover = 133miles. 2hrs 16mins.
Winchester - Clacket Lane Services M25 = 78miles, 1hr 22mins.
Clacket Lane to Dover = 63miles, 1hr 6mins.

Meeting up for the convoy's...........

Winchester Services.............. 09.00'sh to leave at 0930 Prompt.
Clacket Lane Services just after junction 6, M25 = 1100hrs.
To leave by 1145hrs.

These times should get us to the ferry aboot 1300hrs....

We'll meet up with the convoy at Clacket Lane Services on M25. We'll probably be there before 11am so should be there when you arrive. We're heading right down M6, M1 and then M25 clockwise.

Times we have in mind for us are

Leave home @ 6:45am, to meet up with Dai and John in Magor services around 7:30, for a photo shoot with local press.

back on the road around 8am, and onto reading and onto Bracknell, then onto the M3 at around the same time Bill and Tim leave Fleet services, so will give you a call, when we leave the M4 @ Reading to check ETA at junction 3 of the M3.

Updated and I thinky Clacket Lane services are in for a shock, a colourfull shock at that

If Dave of the bling team goes clockwise to clacket he will be on the otherside of the carriaeway and a whole heap fuerther round than he needs to be.....

clacket lane is at the bottom and the exit for dover is about 3 juntions before it.

I think we'll be leaving the M25 before we get to Clacket Services as we'll be heading onto M20 a few junctions before. So we'll not be joining a convoy just yet

Just got off the phone to Bill, and due to the ongoing problems on the channel tunnel and them re-routing freight onto ferries,

We have decided to move meeting times forward 1 hour

looks like we gotta get up even earlier

We're just about ready to leave so will come Bills suggested route and be at Clacket Lane for 10am (on the right carriageway!!!!!
