but today after a couple of sweaty hours of fitting a steering guard i got given for free, these kids about 12 came on our drive! on there bmx's and looked at the landrover, and chevy van then rode off i thought nothing of it untill i was just finnished my food and they came back and started to unscrew my metal dust caps, i put my angrey face on and banged on the window and they rode off
i have had to take my dust caps off now and put the plastic ones on
has anyone else had anything like this

Sorry to hear about that.
The nicer the item, the more jealous some people become. Sad fact!
And yes it did happen, though some years ago, with some hubcaps I had on my Capri.

Sorry to hear Kieran, some folks will nick anything.
I'm taking a chance myself as i've just cleaned out my intercooler, and it's laying on my front garden drying out, only thing is less that 10 meters away is main road with footpath....... still, it's been there an hour so far, will tempt it a little longer, fingers crossed!
Just in case, anyone have spare intercooler for a 300Tdi Disco??
