I have the option of buying a Safari snorkel from a 300tdi for my Td5 D2 but the contact says it isn't for an ABS Disco. If this is the case, what probs would I have in fitting it or is it simply not compatable? scratch

It usually comes down to the route the pipes take internally. The 300 would be a nearside fitting, so nowhere near the brakes on a UK model?

How handy are you with a hot air gun and guttering downpipes?

Cheers Andy, I will look further into it. No probs with the above mentioned though never having fitted a raised air kit it would help if the destructions will be included as it's a used item. In saying that there are some very good documented items online for many of the conversions/add ons for Land Rover, RAI included, very few though mention compatabilities.

Ah, there you go, then!
Is there space to get a 3 inch hose past them?

I have seen the same make and type RAI on both 300 and Td5 Discovery and both are mounted nearside so I guess there must be something different in the inner wing routing.
