| Your quite right about the measurements: it's a 133.. About the cafe: could have guessed you picked an English pub, serving English breakfast. Thought you should know better by know, after dining at Henk's. However since I like some parts of the English breakfast not a bad idea. Hope they too do serve decent Dutch beer. English beer is more like childrens beer | |

| Actually it was nothing whatsoever to do with an English name or English breakfasts, it was solely due to its size and good atmosphere. Other bars and cafes were very good, but the larger ones were so popular that it would have been impossible using them as our base. In addition, the Henry VIII has a large outdoor seating area, and as the weather on Landy Rally is normally very good, this will be better than being couped up indoors. And yes, the beer is 5.0%, not the normal 0.5% water we get over here!!! Trust me, I'm Tom Mc the Disorganiser! | |

| Sounds like a good base and later in the evening it is a nice option to do a bartour. I f you take one little beer every bar you pass, you sure pass out | |

| There are a few, but not as many as a road in South London. It's called the Old Kent Road and back in the `70' / `80's the game was to drink half a pint in each pub until you reached the end, whereupon a taxi would be waiting to transport you home or the hospital. How many pubs were there? 32!!! Imagine walking into the cold night air after every drink - crazy! | |

| You must have missed a lot of them then. The old centre consits mostly out of bars. Every street has a lot of them. Think you don't make it to the last one | |

| Nah! Wayne, Lee and myself saw them all okay, there are a lot, but we were wise enough to avoid the temptation. We may look stupid ... | |

Maybe by then we could remake long way round, but in 4x4s and not on motorbikes. Or even around the world in 80 days. Now id be well up for that | |
