So,
If I remember all the postings correrctly, the first weekend everybody is able to get here is
15/16 May.
Can you all agree to this date?

PS, Tom it's getting that late already you can easily start your recce the same time

Hah, that would be good and it would certainly save money, only it's impossible. Incredibly in May there are still mountain passes closed in the Alps, that's why I leave it until June before conducting the recce.

We are planning to head off to the Alps in June not sure where yet ! Although having watched Top Gear last night that road in Romania looks quite good. Apparently it is 92k long !

We're hoping to do all those mountain passes that we always end up doing in the dark on Landy Rally ! or worse still avoid by going through the tunnel at 2.30am !

Thing is you'll need a reliable vehicle for that, question is which one - Chevy, Lenny or Pinky?

Is going well, Still nobody who can't make it.
So it will be May 15/16 instead of Februari
One advantage, weather is mostly good enough for camping.
I will discuss this with Henk, we'll find a nice spot for you. If you don't like to camp (would be strange bounce

) there is always an alternativ.

I've been so busy checking all the dates, you all can't come over, I've missed the one date a year, people need my presence dearly.
So, we'll start again.
May 22/23, anyone oppose?
4x4 calender is empty btw.
If it is really no option, some others will be dissapointed

P.S. Every year on those days I assist during a survival of rescue dogs and their trainers, my wife being one of them. You can imagine she is somewhat dissapointed

We are ok with this date but can't make any later after this as we are then moving into bank holiday/ main summer holiday/shows/ getting prepared for landy rally etc etc.

I don't know about the Monstars as Kieran /James may be in exam territory then ! scratch

There seems to be a very nice bed and breakfast. Even has a nice view on the country. For those who like that we'll go talk to the owners.

Camping: We'll have to discus too. Maybe there's enough space on private ground
