My Wheelz Empty
PostSubject: My Wheelz   My Wheelz Icon_minitimeWed Oct 21, 2009 3:46 pm

Greetings from a sniffly Jay,

I thought I would just tell you about my Landy which I have owned for around 2 weeks now.

Now where to start is always an issue with these things so I will start from the top and work my way down, fnarr fnarr.

It has a Hannibal roof rack with spare tyre mount, twin jerry can holder and 2 person hannibal roof tent, full length side awning and Piaa spots. Non-factory fitted air-con, dual national lunar battery setup with monitor, water purification system, dog guard, secure safe box for spares, 6 Gomo boxes, 4 water cans, swing away spare wheel carrier (2 spare wheels), hi lift farm jack and mantec window guards. The underside comprises of 2" lift Koni shocks with Possible OME twin shock setup on rear, safari guard front diff guard and front bomb deflector. I use and only use BFG at's @ 265/75/16 on modulars.

I swear the car has more on it but I need to list it all properly. She does need alot of work still to do like having the belts replaced, a good coat of waxoyl, new driver and passenger seats and I need to make a secure boot space in order to keep everything in its place, I also need a new back door. Im also going to upgrade my swing and trail arms, all bushes to poly bushes and to remove the back box on the exhaust and run it out from behind the rear wheel arch via a 3.5" stainless pipe. (LOUD AND PROUD BABY!!!) AND here's the best bit!!!!! Ready?????? My 50l waco fridge with jacket and mounting plates turned up monday and now im chilling a 2l bottle of drink down to -16 degrees C for a laugh. Thanks Chris @ Devon 4x4.

So there you have it. My ride. Should be completed by march/april next year so I will get a chance to get her stickered up and ready to roll by July depending on sponsors.

Phew. Rolling Eyes

An oil-burner I'm presuming, you didn't say? Sounds well sorted, but how's your air filter? Dust Bowl is waiting you know. Twisted Evil

BTW, before you go buying any more big stuff, let me know as various companies give Landy Rally entrants discounts i.e UK CB Centre - on CB's funny enough! One of them specialises in fridges as it happens, but I don't suppose you want to hear that. No

PM me your requirements and I'll see if I can pass on the relevant company.
