As Red's tax disc is about to expire, I've decided to declare SORN for a month or two, hope it stops snowing, and start on all the odd jobs that usually get left until the beginning of September!

  • New UJ's and propshaft service,
  • New diff seals (again, but not Paddock's this time),
  • Proper engine clean and flush,
  • All new belts,
  • New filters,
  • Rewire heaters and aircon,
  • Intercooler cleanup,
  • Fix the swivel bearings,
  • New exhaust manifold and gaskets,
  • Clean up, seal and patch doors,
  • Realign the rear door,
  • Fix indicator telltale,
  • Cut down the rear plough,
  • Replace the rear bumper (thanks, Keith),
  • Hammer the front bumper back into shape,
  • Re-plumb the LPG pipework, and
  • Re-seal and re-paint both roofracks.

...back on the road for Spring Adventure? Hmm.

Think how boring life would be running a Euroblob or Nippon car ...

No laying underneath it for hours on end in freezing conditions
No swinging the hammer
No swearing at it
No fun!

Isn't masochism great? cheers cheers cheers
