This might be possible if it's ok to tag along, possibly with new co-driver, a younger and more student version of me in the form of my brother!

The first stage of the mini 'rebuild' has started this weekend and if she's finished Nessie may come along for a shakedown!

Brilliant, cheers! Yep I'm a dropout from last year and a possible hopeful for this year, my planning bubble only goes as far as July unfortunately!

Now ferries, or see if I can get a lift, there's always a warship or two in amsterdam!

Okay, it seems Jan and his tribe will be joining us after all. cheers

What will happen is they will go over on the same ferry as yours truly Friday 21st, then scoot off to show his loved one the sights (where he grew up, etc) then meet up with us later - probably on Saturday. We can sort out exactly where and when later. He shouldn't get too lost, he is a Dutchie after all!

Me I'm booking up my ferry tomorrow, Dover-Dunkirk as it's cheap and accessible for France (some 6% Pelforth dumpies are a must whilst in Froggieville) then Belgium (more good beer) then Holland - yet more good beer. Mmmmm, anyone want to nominate themselves as my 'nominated driver' for the weekend? Smile drunken

the annual leave should be booked tomorrow so can get on with booking it the next conundrum is wheels, obviously off road tyres required but i only get 14-18 mpg out of them so might be worth running on road tyres to get 20-24mpg and carrying the wheels on board :cherry: :cherry:

Putted Jan on the list.
Tom, please ask him to be on time Saturday.
If one gets late in the morning, he misses the real fun.

@ Johnno

As for now I suppose you'll get quite far on roadtires.
Altough I'll try to change that. ( doing the raindance)

Keep your eyes at the 5th posting. regularly updated. Lists who will come at what time (about) and with how many persons you'll be here. Last is new, but you can imagine we want to know. So please keep me informed. You may use PM if you like
