| Internet search - Valkenburg is a tourist town so there are plenty of hotels around. Although I shall be contacting all the teams at the end of this week with Start Line details, etc., there's no harm in informing you now in advance ... Camping / Scrutineering - daytime Friday 10th Sept 2010Stadscamping Den Driesch Heunsbergerweg 1 6301 BN Valkenburg Netherlands Tel: +31 043 601 20 25 Email: info@campingdendriesch.nl www.campingdendriesch.nl/en/index.lp The 'meeting point' evening of Friday 10th Sept 2010Restaurant Henry VIII Grotestraat Centrum 24 6301CX Valkenburg Netherlands Tel: +31 043 601 04 16 Web: www.holland.com/uk/search/detail.jsp?id=56905 YODA TAKE NOTE: My advice would be to book a hotel in the centre near to Restaurant Henry VIII. Although close, Stadscamping Den Driesch is a difficult walk from the town centre to the campsite, therefore during the day you can drive, evening when you have a beer or two, you can simply walk from your hotel to Henry VIII ... and stagger back! Registration Saturday 11th Sept 2010Amstel Gold Race Experience Plenkertstraat 50 6301 GM Vankenburg Netherlands Tel: +31 043 601 82 67 Email: info@amstelgoldracexp.nl Web: www.amstelgoldracexp.nl As mentioned, further details to follow. | |

Don't think we will be that drunk that we can not walk back to site, thier is always taxies, cheaper than hotels. Fair enough. No more than 10 minutes for you. No problem Andy, based on past experience it's just nice to get the bulk of it done on Friday. Sat morning is fine. Will send precise timings end of this week.

That would be the Rodelbaan toboggan. Told you, Valkenburg is a tourist town. Plenty to do and see there. Scrutineering all day BTW.

| Sounds like there will not be an early trip to Henry VIII for the scrutineers waiting for us all to get there on the Friday | |

| My ferry will be on noon Thursday, so will be in Valkenburg late afternoon. Unfortunately I can't afford the time or money this year for extra days, we'll just have to make the time on Landy Rally even better. | |
