Ambulance should be fixed by now, gearbox was realy broken. A whole lot of pieces came out.

New adventures for next year: in november 5 days of heavy off road in Slovakia. I hope to make a trip to the Pyrenees next autumn. Found an old roadbook (12 years) crossing it all from west to east. Looks like a nice challenge to check it and rewrite it. Only problem is, it is written in Catalan, have to find a translator.

I'm sure gearboxes shouldn't have lots of pieces in it. But I think Lenny's has an odd bit of synchromesh floating around - should be on 2nd gear !

Are you coming over here after Christmas ? Along with Henk ? We 're planning to get together with Yoda and anyone else who might be interested.

I'm not sure if Tom is planning anything under the Landy Rally Banner for after Christmas as he seems to have vanished from Planet England. Perhaps his ambulance has broken down .

Did Kieran tell you he and James have a series ambulance they are trying to rebuild

Yep, back alive 'n' kicking!

Ambulance mighty fine thank you, well, apart from the back door wanting to part company with rest of the vehicle. Not even my fault for once, customer on one of the Pyrenees 4x4 Tours supported himself on door as he climbed out, one of the hinge pins gave up the ghost so complete door was left swinging in the wind. New gate hinges from a Spanish ironmongers next day soon rectified the problem, such is life.

Been concentrating on earning some dosh and paying bills over the last few days, so to be honest Landy Rally has been the last thing on my mind. Getting there now but just soooooooo busy.

Nothing planned for a Landy Rally get-together after Christmas, but you may like to note that the "Overland & 4x4 Travel Show" is back (rumoured to be on Sunday 12th February 2012 although this is still to be officially confirmed), so maybe that weekend could be one to aim for? Some kind of playtime Saturday daytime and evening, then on to the show Sunday? I will have a stand there, doubtless so will Kieran supported by Keith, Sylvia and Marc, so plenty of Landy Rally interest there already. Just an idea, especially as the show's venue is again at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre, more or less centre of the country. Not so good if you reside in Scotland though! As I say, just an idea.

No No. too much traffic, would make me even more

Strange place this Sarf, Google Maps won't find it, where is it located: middle of nowhere?

Thats why I never use google, can't find anywhere, Sarf is rather a large area.
