Weil, after a year, YES a year of waiting the MAC4x4 is once again finally upon us.

1000miles starting from Craven Arms..............and thats all we know.

NO GPS, Sat Nav etc.,
Map and compass only...................my navvy, pams dressing up as a girl guide. ( I wish)

See, it was all going so well up until the point you mentioned what I could get for my £3 ... a whole pint!!!!!

Go on then, put me down for 1 3/4 pints (a fiver). Oooooooo!!!! Collar me next time you see me as I don't do plastic. Yeah okay, I realise it may only be a fiver, but another 99 £5's and he's cracked it! It's the cool way of raising funds for charity as nobody will miss £3 to £5 whereas a lump sum would hurt.

Hiya 'K' and the rest of the gang.
weil the weekend went ace, or was it?
Started off friday morning leaving Cannock boot 0730.
(thats Keirin oot )
sun was shining,.
met up as planned with other BOFA4x4 members.
headed on doon to meet the rest of the gang for a big hearty breakfast.
Solids on a weekend off?
Then on we went, off to Craven arms.
still sunny and hot.
Did the various stages.
Not good at all.
Trundeling aboot in the mud, wind and the odd shower.
slept in the car friday neet.
warm enough NOT to need oor sleeping bags.
Saturday farted aboot on the Irish ferry.
Drive up Eire to NI where we haid another ferry crossing over to Bonnie Scottyland.
slept in the car again.
Bit colder this time.
More off roading and up in the hills and glens of my beloved home land.
Finished at a 4* hotel in Warrington.
SHOWER, SH....And food.
Oh, liquid food also.
Gone 3 again before we hit the sack.
Monday saw us back home and I had sorted a 'meet' locally for our team just to unwind and calm doon.

The night was spent going over JUST HOW....

Muddy, wet, cold, dirty, hungry, uncomfy, tireing, funnee, happy, meeting friends old and new.

So 'K' to answer yer Q, IT WAS AWFUL.

How I would have loved to have spent the weekend in front of the TV, bed, chinky, chippy, pub.................................................NOT
