For Sale - Roof Rack for Series 3

Yet another item from my garage to leave (hopefully!).

A galvanised roof rack for a series 3 SWB, good condition, has a ladder as well, also has spotlight brackets welded to the front edge.

Cost about £150 new, make me an offer

well, as it's in really good nick, and it has 4 spot light mounts welded on, and pre drilled for wipac lights, and with the ladder included, how does £100 sound to you??

Well, i'd like to see it go to you, esp as i presume you'll be using it in september!!

It could be posted, not sure how much it would cost, but it does come apart to some extent, although would be heavy. i could get it as far as Warrington for you. otherwise, maybe some show or other, or if you know anyone this way who's coming up your way?? not sure, up to you.

I'll be going in my Camel 110 Hardtop. Was hoping it might strap to my roof rack with some rachet straps. Would need help to get it on and off.
Would imagine it would be better to break it down as much as poss.

ok, easily done, it actually pretty much flat packs, been a long time since i did it, but can be done, or might be easier if long rat straps just to attach it as is?? up to you, what day you going, and any idea of an ETA in the berkshire area? will check to see if i'm at work, if so will make arrangements for you to me met.

Got several long rachet straps so won't be a problem, if you think it will go on as is that'll be fine by me.

Can't say what time I'll be passing through Notts yet. It will be some time in the afternoon. I would have to ring on the day after leaving Berks to give you an accurate time.

Thanks for the ceck, it arrived this morning, will bank it as soon as i get a chance, but will probably not be until sometime next week as i'm on difficult shifts for banking!! (they don't like me parking my big yellow taxi outside - looks bad for business! :suspect: )
