| well, been noticing a serious lack in performance today especially after a certain inccident, im sure marc will explain, ended up towing him from chesterfield to sheffield, noticed it on the way back from leeds looking at " scarey waynes rangie " turbo seeems, how do i put it ... none existant this aswell as a slight staring problem is slightly worrying me as we are on the mac this coming weekend, all i can hope now is that changing the bottom turbo pipe solves it, going up the hill from hope to the blue john cavern (if you know derbyshire) not that bad and it wouldnt go any higher than 2nd, theres no boost from the turbo at all any ideas? would the turbo hose cause this? im out of ideas
cheers kieran |

pinky will make it, i have a plan on closer inspection the turbo hose has a hole in it causing a slight loss of pressure ( the no turbo effect ) the furl system all appears okay so i would expect it to be fine on the mac after all the fuel system was in worse condition at the end of landy rally 2007 |

| You remember me asking if you had an oil pressure warning light after toasting the last turbo....?
Have you got an oil pressure warning light?
No idea about the "slight staring problem"

Wire from sensor, direct to bulb in dash. If it doesn't Just Work (tm), sollow trace from other side of bulb to the plug, and connect that wire to the ignimition switch "On" wire - Quote :

- Handbrake ( ! ) (Switch is probably broken, wire as oil light and see if it works),
- brake fluid level ((!)) (Bottle top switch, one side grounded, then wire as above),
- Kieran At Wheel !!! .... connect one side to chassis, other side to battery.

I've got OBD2 and VAG readers if you need them ... hannaH's car had a Check Engine light on at one point ... fault was "Improbable Brake Pedal Position". Such a fantastic error code for "dirty brake light switch". My van had an "Engine Preheat Fault" every time it was frosty. Managed to get new glowplugs twice and a new set of fuel injectors just before the warranty ran out. The actual fault was the fuel heater sensor (in the filter housing, nowhere near the engine) was set up for warmer climates, so registered anything below freezing as a sensor fault. The error messages often only make sense after you've found the actual fault. Tried changing the batteries in the central locking remote?

| i think its the lambda probe, either coverd in crud or not getting a proper reading because the cat has gone or because there is two holes in the exhaust not allowing for any back pressure, got a new sensor so when thats fitted hopefully it should be fixed | |
