1. Landyprikkers (Jaap & Henk) ... although we'll probably have to handicap them by tying one hand behind their backs plus give them a 'special' Road Book in some obscure Chinese dialect that hasn't been used for a thousand years.

Looking forward to doing it all again, besides, I've secured our graphics sponsor for 2010 so it just HAS to be done again.

Will stock up on camera SD cards (how about buying one each week until the rally?) just in case Potti gets carried away deleting images before we get them safely home onto the EHD.

We had such a fantastic time this year that it will be difficult to make it any better Tom. Now there's a challenge !

But I've got a few ideas !

However, probably not Syliki Roadrunners. After three consecutive years they (and Lenny) will almost certainly take a sabbatical next year. They did after all achieve their goal of finally making it to the dust bowl - let's hope it was worth it!!!

Well The Rally Virgins are tempted to join next year so that they can beat the Dutch Pricks!!!!!

JC and Potti, have you bought an industrial sized pot of T-Cut yet? After washing my truck, I have found numerous Landy Rally scars. I'm in two minds whether I should polish the paintwork or take the dutch barge approach and mark each scar with a reference to where it happened!!

Would anyone be interested in a Landy Rally reunion in Holland? It has been mentioned before, but I think Paul and myself would like to see Jaap & Henk in Feb 2010. More the merrier I reckon!

I think it needs a bit more than T-Cut! The paintwork is doomed, bloody DOOMED I say!! Next time we do the rally and if in the same group I will make sure someone other than you leads, or that we're at the back. I could hardly back out of that route you led us down with a bloody great Dutch barge up my a**e!.

As with you, after pressure washing the D2 (3 times) all your...yes YOUR bush marks can be seen more clearly. Looks like someones been doing some DIY crazy paving designs on the sides. I know I wanted graphics on the D2 but not permanent ones!

Anyway I picked all my toys up and put them back in the pram shortly after it happened.

Like the idea of seeing Jaap and Henk but Feb maybe a bit soon for us.

Hi guys, I think I may have a co-pilot now and my charity is the British Heart Foundadion due to recent events this year. Im going to attempt to upload one of those avatar thingies.

It appears you have succeeded with the avatar thingy Jay . Congrats BTW, task No.1 complete plus you have a co-driver. Plans well in advance then, not the normal Landy Rally way I must say as planning normally starts mid-summer then panic sets in at the end of August.

You coming to the Landy Rally Christmas bash? You and you clubmates are more than welcome, besides, you can get to hear first hand from the teams who have actually done it what the event is all about, preperation, etc.

As for Ian/Keri …go on, you know you wanna!!! Why not make it a SWPOC (South Wales Pajero Owners Club) outing next September, that would be a laugh? Like Jay, now's the time to start planning, especially as we're likely to be climbing out of this economic slump by then ... damn well hope so anyway!!! How about asking on your club forum who is up for it ?

After last years LR made such an impact on me i decided that for the next fews years i have to give people close to me the chance to experience the LR and beside now i've got an engine with only 43,400 miles on the clock so i have to pay it homeage! I had told Helen not to get too many ideas about coming next year but after she enjoyed it so much i have decided we can make space for her meaning a very happy Helen awww bless.

So next year it will still be the Range Ravers with Rich co driving/driving and Helen with the titles of canteen departement, bar tender, task completion manager and head organiser all rolled into one. The team should be well oiled for an smooth ride but i feel heavy duty springs are on the cards!

Also have two mates very interested, they say they are gonna do it but you know how it goes. Both have defenders, one short and the other long wheel base. It would be great if they come.

I've got a feeling next years will be amazing more the merrier.....
