Medical Team

Hey folks, the short way round team are also carrying the Medical Team for the Landy Rally (If one person can be a team!)

Tom is, has been, or will be sending out forms to be filled in, which is a basic medical disclaimer form. We need these back as soon as we get to france, or if possible before.

Just for those that havn't yet seen the form, apart from the disclaimer section, if anyone needs assistance in buying, building a first aid kit, i can help. if anyone wants any special items of kit, i can help there too, or just advice on what to carry etc.

There is also a section on the letter asking if you have anything we need to be aware of. We assure you, any information given to us, is dealt with in STRICT medical confidentiality, and the usual patient relationship. ie no information is passed to anyone, regardless of relationship etc.

When I say things that we might need to be aware of, are things like diabeties, asthma, angina, and unstable medical conditions, people who suffer from epilepsy, anything contagous etc etc.

This information is useful so we can be prepared, and to make sure we are carring the appropriate supplies. obviously anyone with conditions etc will have there own stuff to take caer of themselves, butwe need to be prepared to assist if need be.
