Thames Valley 4x4 - Punch Hunt Sunday 7th October

Hi Everyone, just letting you know that Thames Valley 4x4 are holding a Punch Hunt event at the weekend. The location is Speen (just north of High Wycombe, Bucks). The site is mainly wooded with lots of criss-cross tracks running through, there are also a number of bomb hole features. We will have a burger van on-site, and a fully functioning toilet

Hi there, yes a punch hunt is not something to get too excited about. For those of you who don't know, it is just a case of driving around looking for punches. You will have a card fixed to your grab rail on the nearside, when you find a punch you then do the necessaries. Yes there will be some tricky ones for the more competetive of you but if you want to get your tyres muddy then this is an ideal oppertunity.

we are going to have to turn this event down
we would love to do an event like this, but we are not confident enough with the mechanics of the vehicle at the moment we will be doing some gentle green laning n derbyshire instead so if we break it will be a shorter tow home

hopefully we wont,
keep us posted on any more of these events, pretty please with a cherry on top

Same here - T'n'T's Disco's gearbox has given up! We have a replacement, so it looks like Tweedie will be busy this weekend. Takes me back to pre-Rally weekends replacing the clutch etc!
