Who's going to the Driffield LRO show in May???

Title says it all really.

My first show (and probably only) show this year will be Eastnor in June

Ill be there with Kieran and the rest of team monstar but i have a 3 1/4 hour exam on the 13th that i kind of need to revise for but itll be a "break" from revision :afro: :flower: :flower: :flower:

I can vaguely remember exams. Didnt like them then, can't imagine doing them now!!

I'll be there with no time restrictions due to exams or anything else. Will probably have to be an honory member of Team Monstar, if they'll still have me - or go in Lenny. Now thats a difficult decision... comfort or pain ... pain or comfort.....tricky!!

Probably. Last year was fun.

£10/day's okay, but £60 for weekend + camping seems a little out of proportion. Especially as wifey most likely won't want to stay over.

Anyone know if they do single occupancy discount?
Who else is staying over?
Anyone want to car+pitch/tent share? Can provide vehicle and/or 3 room tent. (I'm in Leeds area, could do pickup from trains station)

I'm going down but only for the Saturday as it's the wifes 40th on the Sunday...couldn't (or wouldn't dare) miss that!

Hopefully I'll get a chance to meet up with some of you on the Saturday.

Jon Kelly rang me today, apparently there's grass bank opposite his VentureOverland trade stand, so that's where you'll find my Rangie. I shouldn't be too far away, then again if the beer tent's nearer ...

Not certain if the organisers will allow any more Landy Rally vehicles on this grass bank, we'll find out upon arrival. If you have a vehicle for display all 'stickered up' (i.e. Pinky) then I should imagine it'll be okay but as I say, no promises, we'll know for sure from Friday when I arrive late afternoon. See you there peeps.

Just to let you all know, in just an hour via 91 separate lots the Greshlets Charity Action (http://lrboards.com/greshlets.php ) at the LRO Spring Adventure Show in Driffield, East Yorkshire raised over £5,000 + a splendid donation of £1,500 by the committee of LRO Editor John Pearson’s local village. FAIR PLAY!!!

That’s more than £6,500 going to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance!

Was nice to see funds being raised, and the large number of nice items dondated by traders. I wish I'd taken my chequebook.
