| As a lot of people know I had www.3arc.com sponsor me for this event in the way of a GPS Tracker Unit being put onto my Pajero...... If you would like to see where the rally took us, click onto WWW.TEAMTAFF.CO.UK then click on 'PHOTO GALLERY' (which is on the left hand side). You will see that one of the albums is a screen shot of where we went of this year's rally (The Overall Route, Day 1, Day2, and so on). I have also uploaded a majority of our pictures onto the Photo Gallery too.....I will be sorting them out by Day 1, Day 2, etc, in the near future, but in the mean time feel free to have a look | |

Couldn't you have taken the front propshaft out and played anyway?

| the convoy that got to the gate and turned around missed out on so much, i know the bbq wasnt there as in the 07 rally but we managed to rustle up some food and Team Monstar went for a climb up to 2800m to the top of the ski slopes and look into the next valley and the views were incredible, flippin freezing aswell but the guy who runs the site took us up there in his bog standard disco. For all those who were left behind andybloke and Jon, dispite all the break downs and issues we made it... | |

| As Andybloke says you don't really need two. I lost my front shaft on day one and still managed most of Val D'Isere. However there was a price to pay after Stelvio when a trailing arm separated from the back axle. So perhaps it wasn't such a wise decision but even this turned out to be a great experience. I managed to meet the local cheif of snowploughs who took Lenny to his workshop, turfed out the biggest sonwplough in Austria to make room over the pit so he could weld everything back together. All this at 10:00 at night and for the price of two cans of lager.
Just another of life rich experiences !!!

| Keith - Didn't know a convoy turned around at the gate. All ours - the Get Lost Crew - made it to the 2800mtr ski lift marked 'Picnic Area' which wasn't! That's where where the clicking started F/N/S. We starburst from there to play and then regrouped

| Having watched the proceedings of removing the propshaft from Lenny at the side of the motorway I can understand why Keith (evo 4x4) really didn't want to touch his prop shaft at Val d'isere.
Hopefully we'll get the new UJ fitted tomorrow in time for Abingdon.

| Marmots! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmot will explain all.
Now on his laptop, Badger has a decent couple of 'beaver' photos I took at the Gavia Pass. One with zoom one without, the difference is incredible. I'll ask him to post them on here.

Dr Evil took a group photo of us around a marmot last year ... We still refer to it as a beaver, as "Gratuitous Marmot Shot" doesn't have the same ring to it.
