| I'm over here!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've looked a few times, but no wity banter going on? Tom is alive, i've heard off him, in the Alps somewhere in 6 inches of snow (probably the first time he's seen 6 inches!!!! of snow that is) being a soft southerner he's not good when temp drops below 20! | |

| Yes, it has gone quiet! We're just working and getting on with rally stuff at any spare moment. We've just ordered our new CB and tommorrow we're going to Simmonites - the biggest 4x4 accessory showroom in Yorkshire! Hmm.. not sure how many others there are! Has anybody else been there?

| Yorkshire? That's a pudding isn't it, or is it a dog? Somebody once said "that the only good looking women in Yorkshire were tourists", can't believe that personally, I've been there! Or was it Lancaster? At least, it was somewhere keeping the waves off, of Watford! | |

We're going mainly for a ride out and to have a nosey! We have a wish list, but it's mainly things like +2" spring lift and new mud tyres etc., rather then the exciting stuff on your site like those fantastic Engel fridges and Patriot roof racks. They do look ace though. Are you based in Yorkshire? Didn't mean to put my foot in it!!! Oops! That's usually Tweedie's job! Are you open on Saturdays?? I get paid next week, so funds quite limited currently and as you know we have to save up for flat caps and whippets and stuff up north! Lu :bom:

| It hasn't stopped raining here for about 6 years now and we keep having to go next door to fetch our garden back, so that it can float away again. Still busy preparing for LR though. Kierans new bull bars finally arrived this week. Thanks to half of the Land Rover owners in UK for transport etc ... and finally the salesman from CCM who put them in the back of the company Mondeo. Today we should get them fitted hopefully in time for the local newspaper to take pictures etc. They are going to write about us in the next edition I think. I will put an extract on our website when I get a copy. Must go and see where the lawn is ..... | |

| Its all quiet in here but its that time of year with weddings, golden anniversaries and relatives you have not seen for 12 years deciding to pop over from overseas to say hello. I keep meaning to start that to-do list but all I have so far is a tow rope and a fridge, essential tho those are! Im intending to go to at least one show before the rally so Ill be able to say hello to any fellow ralliers in the beer tent. 12 weeks and counting! | |

| Wow, so many comments!! I've not really been here as have a deadline at work which is 'job dependant' so i'm working hard on that, and will be until the 6th july sadly Will keep checking here though, can't resist, need he break, otherwise i'll go even more insane than i already am! Lu, with regard to +2 springs, give me a ring, just done that job myself!! Keith, i've got some anchor lines if you want for your garden, and a couple life rings, i forget how grim it is up north, although i haven't heard of any whippit's in flat caps drowing recently though! Glad Tom is having fun, wish i was there in the snow! Jon, do you guys have rear dislocation cones? Talk soon All! | |

| Hello, Us Southern softies down here, have got some of your wet stuff. You can tell it's Wimbledon soon! The amount of rain you've have up north, terrible, though the ferry should able to dock soon at the end of your road! Just remembered another thing to take.......... a smoke alarm............... won't know if my food is ready without one. | |

| Sounds very familiar to me. Since Kieran increased the height of our LR by adding a roof rack it no longer fits in the garage. Not a problem until the monsoon season stared, now we do all our work under his little pink umbrella .... | |

We didn't get along with them. Four+4 in Leeds were much more friendly, and a lot cheaper for the same kit.

| Lu, If your looking for some nice springs that'll lift about 2", Id seriously consider the TJM ones (yes we can offer them but its not a biassed opinion). They are in almost everyway identical to the OME ones and as such are biassed more to improving handling with a heavy overlanding vehicle, rather than soft as shite and letting your car handle like a shopping trolley.
Dont forget though, with a +2" lift, chances are you'll need longer brake hoses and caster corrected bushes to maintain axle geometry. You'll also need to change your dampers if your currently running standard length ones.

| Cheers Jon. Didn't get to Simmonites in the end. Decided to sort some bits we'd already bought (or were broken!) rather than buy more! We're coming to Manby on Saturday, so we might pop by for some advice about springs and dampers, if that's ok. Tweedie seems to know all the bits we need.
