Landy and BOFA4x4 Rally taster??? practice

I am presently 'tasting' the waters and thinking aboot doing a wee 'dry run for this years Landy + BOFA4x4 Rally.
and make a weekend out of it !!
So, heres a the thoghts at the mo.
Open for people who are going on the Landy + BOFA4x4 Rally 2008 and maybe more importantly for those of you who are intrested in going on the rally in the future and whould like a wee taster.
It will be a 'quick fix' ie, up on Friday, party friday neet, off roading Saturday, party again at neet then choice of off roading sunday then home or jist a lie in then home.
This will give us the chance to experiance what we are going to be getting on the first day of the Landy + BOFA4x4 rally.
(and let the non-goers experiance the 'convoy runs)
We are also working on the fee for the days off roading so that we can earn a few squids for Charity.
Also, depending on the intrest we may make it a hotel stop or a camp stop.

Just wanted to get some feedback as to the who, when, and how........................

We know tis a long way up but it will give us 'goers' a time to test out our equipment and cars before the grueling 3000mile rally, and give the non-goers a taste of things to come and indeed just what they are missing.
Let us know what ye think, ideas, suggestions etc.
Dates would also be an advantage.

Team RoadRunners would be up for it. As for dates we are trying not to divert Kierans attention from his A levels so late June would be good. Is the location really Lochgilphead? If so that would be great, we haven't stayed there but used to pass that way our way to holidays on Islay years ago.
