| Kieran is away at a rock festival this weekend so hasn,t seen this yet (as you might guess I have been left to sort his wiring out, fit a new radiator, finish the new back door .....). I presume he will be able to get an IDP from the RAC etc. Would he need any other documentary evidence to confirm which bits he can drive and to back up his claim if he gets stopped ? We have found contradictory details relating to some other countries do you know a definitive list we can rely on ? Many thanks for your help. | |

| Hi,
Yes you can get an IDP from motoring organisations and I think from some major PO's, but you have to be over 18, but you shouldn't need it.
Personally, just let your insurance and breakdown companies know, they're the ones who'll help if needed.
Try this link, or contact, RAC/AA; http://driving.drive-alive.co.uk/
Cheers, and best of luck with your many tasks!

| the practice day went great ish.... i asked jon if there was any big water puddles on the pay and play site and he laughed and said follow me, sure enough we arrived at a big water puddle. he said as a new land rover owner you need to learn your limits and somehow managed to pursuade me to have a go feeling safe that there was a beefed up defender and a V8 very nice light weight there, well this is how it went ..... notice the mound of silt that had built up above... oh no stuck ontop of the mound of silt, sinking deeper... took over an hour to get poor old pinky out, in the end we offerd a fair swap, we get the beefed up 90 to pull this other guy out and in return he pulls me out with his winch, it worked andwe were out but his winch over heated and oh dear... all good fun |

| Sadly the only thing my two sons know about spell checking is what they learned from Harry Potter. As for grammar they think she is the old lady claiiming to be my mother .... | |
