Any news on MissDaisy yet? The hicup'ing sounds like it could be oil in the injector loom syndrome. If so its a relatively cheap fix...

BJ's not taking Lara over, so I was toying with the idea of heading down by motorbike.
May still end up arriving by Landy, though, as my wife's seen the photos, read the diary and watched us on GPS for LR2007, and wants to be co-driver next year. Might go buy a cheap disco on the way to the show, and start preperations early for next years rally!

Would be nice to know if there are stand passes, or if we just pay on the gate.

At the risk of beginning to sound like an Abingdon 4x4 Festival expert... Off-roading passes are £25 per vehicle per day, spectators are £10 per vehicle per day. There are no club passes. All money goes to local air ambulance though so a good cause.

To you bikers: I've been on the back of a bike doing 130mph down the airstrip (where they queue to get on the off-road course) at Abingdon. Was part of "Wheels Day" which unfortunately isn't run any more Sad

You could be passenger on a bike, drive a bus, rally car, artic etc.

I am pleased to advise that Team Thames Valley will be visiting everyone at Abingdon on the Saturday for a good old get together cheers

We will then mooch on down to Crystal Palace for the L2B run, camping overnight (can't be as cold as Val d'Isere!) :face:

Get to Abingdon South junction of A34, follow signs to Dalton Barracks/Marcham and then you'll no doubt see signs for Abingdon 4x4 Festival.

No, the rocket launcher buttons are going on the steering wheel. Satnav will have to be a head-up display Smile

The disco I was looking at was sold before the seller got back to me, so looks like I'll be heading down to Abingdon by bike - possibly Friday evening.

No probs mate, we'll bring the tent we used on the rally for you to use, and if Mark needs it too, you can share, it's easy big enough for 2, plus we're going Friday to Sunday!

Sure there will be a beer tent.

Dont know if fires are "allowed"... But I know last year we had a sizable fire on the BBQ after we'd eaten. Doesnt sound big until I say it was half a 45g drum on its side!!

No one tried to stop us! We ate and drank well that night!!!
