| yes and poor james was going down a hill and stopped halfway down to get out and inspect the next bit and first off a suzuki grand vitara skidded into the back of his 90 and dented in the rear cross member and bent the body to go with it, then about 10 minutes later a 110 came round the corner abit sharpish towards the hill ( a local who "knew" the area well...so he said) and then planted that into the back of james' in the same place looks like sparky (or nimbus for kym) is off to the repair shop for a while... i didnt have the luxury of off road tyres so had to make do with normal A/Ts made it abit interesting following some of the hillbillies of sheffield getting over manor top...one guy wondered why he couldnt get up the hill with his flat tyre (he hadnt noticed to be fair to him) | |

| just remind me why james was stopped marc .... somthing to do with a spun frontera in the road ? dangerous round here now, snow ontop of ice james car is off the road, cross member bent 90 degrees inwards, suzuki door smashed in and side of 57 reg 110 crumpled because of ice, but in fairness it wouldnt have bent his cross member if he didnt have those ex-army rear bumperettes, ( warning to all dont have them any bigger than need be ) all terrain tyres handle better, much better than mine on the ice but mine are better on the snow, still managed to make it down a closed "impassable road" to a dam to slide down the back of it on lylos its about 15 cm deep still here |

| Trust the Chaotic one. "Try anything once" is my motto, although even for me, that white powerery stuff is a step too far. Besides, I have a Range Rover and 11 men chasing an inflated pig's bladder to support, leaving sweet Fanny Adams in the pot (no pun intended) for recreational habits. Meanwhile, back at the ranch ... Kieran - didn't know they made LR 110's back in 1957? James - Bet your insurance claim form is going to make interesting reading, the drawing alone is likely to be a work of art! | |

| Heavy snow predicted overnight and Friday morning here on the south coast, so hopefully I'm off to play. Missed out earlier in the week as Rangie was due it's annual health check - the dreaded MOT - but now with a clean bill of health it's time to hit the white stuff. ... and yes, I'll keep an eye out for incoming Grand Vitaras and 110's! | |
