Only just booked our hotel. Decided I had to as it was up to £32.50 a night and it could well increase yet again with the VAT increase due on 4th January. Most hotel rooms are increasing, so I suppose Travelodge is no different. At least it's now done.

... and yes, the Naaz on Friday night too!

The naaz price has been agreed finally,
£17.50 per head, and £5 of which to charity so if you pay on justgiving in advance then its just £12.50 per head on the night

It's the Landy Rally Christmas/New Year/any-other-excuse-for-a-get-together on Saturday night, although don't know where we're eating as there only seems to be a Little Thief and a SubWay next door. Perhaps it's the all-day breakfast for us?

Kieran's Naaz do in Mansfield in aid of Macmillian Cancer Support is totally seperate, that's on the Friday night.

My thoutghs as well Saturday night meal, is thier not a pub next to hotel, or near by with carvery. ?




edit are you getting a mini bus from hotel on the Friday night, if so could usehim again Saturday night

I am planning to run a Chevy-bus service from the hotel to Naaz on Friday and again on Saturday to the meal. It has six seats (plus driver) so should be able to help at least some of those who need to drink (Tom). I am not sure how many there will be Friday but it would be possible to co-opt more seats if needed. Saturday I am expecting to run more of a shuttle as the meal will be closer to the hotel.

I was aware saturday isn't friday, Tom, that's why I asked!

just a last minute note, for all planning to drive on the off-road site and treasure hunt,
please check your front and rear recovery point
seat belts
if you have a winch check the cable is safe
check your battery is strapped down safe
check your recovery ropes and shackles are safe
if you have reflective jackets please pack them

Safety first !!!
failure to do this will result in not being allowed out of the car park area

looking at having a BBQ going around breakfast and lunch time to supply some food

had news today that the chefs son has malaria so the part time chef will be on on saturday night
please can all possible let me know by pm or email what you would like to eat from this menus

this doesn't change any plans it just helps the staff to cook our food

if you could pm me by 5am friday morning i will let them have it, so long as they have most of what we want then they will manage, like i say if you miss this deadline don't worry you will still get food
