| After a very quick chat (<20 seconds) lastnight, it appears that hannaH and Lucas may be up for camping at the Driff and Manby shows! (So long as it's not forecast to rain lots)
Tom, if there's Landy Rally Club stands at these shows, could I reserve a camping spot please, as they are local (ish)? (Will bring lights, power, music and cold beers, too!)

| I'd be suprised if camping's a problem at Manby. Steve & Barry (the organisers) are sound blokes. It'll be windy though.
Driffield's a different storey - organised by a magazine, camping space will be at a premium. We'll be too tight on space this year as well so I cant help on that front. Tom may be able to work some magic though!

| Club spaces are cheaper, and closer to the beer tent, though! | |

| Is it worth me finding out if any TR owners are going to be at either show? If so, they may have a club stand and may let you on a corner for free!?
BJ certainly will be at either....

BJ certainly will be at either.... jo It seems a bit cheeky to sneak onto the TR stand 3 years in a row Last year there were only 2 cars on the stand at Driffield, one of them being my Disco, and there weren't any TombRaiders at Manby. If Jon's short of space, Landy Rally should try for its own stand rather than taking up Venture's.

| I will have a Landy Rally stand at both these events. We are big enough and ugly enough to warrant our own pitch nowadays. | |

| We'll be at Driffield but it'll only be a day trip as it's the wife's birthday that weekend so wouldn't go down well if we disappeared for the weekend! D | |

| Latest news about Driffield -
Good news! Have established a 'special weekend fee' with the organisers (ask no questions) so need to make a list of interested parties for a Landy Rally display ... AND QUICK!!!
As I can't announce the camping fees publicly, if you can attend simply post your interest here and will follow it up by sending you a PM stating the Landy Rally camping fees.
I will deal with Manby in a new seperate thread when I have more news.
Driffield so far:-
Keiran Andybloke Fred & Geoff ... and Tango 1 Tom Mc
Jon of Team VentureOverland will be on his Trade Stand Andy of the X-treme Ass Crew (LR'07) will be on Doncaster & District Land Rover Club

| Indeed!
Yes, Tom. Count me in for Driff - 2 adults, and one little monster on the club stand.
Sorry, Kieran, no space in Red or the tent for you, but will be running a beer-cooler all weekend, and can bring the little blue tent (that you slept in 1st night at Abingdon '08 ) if you want to borrow it.
They don't charge extra for little trailers, do they?

| In the true Bodgit Landy way... Can I suggest a car seat made from Cling Film, wrapped around the site and new born?
Better and safer than driving around with the poor little thing sat on the bonnet!?!?

I wasn't gonna leave him there like that .... figured gaffer tape onto the windscreen wiper would do the trick...

| We'll be going to Driffield. Not sure for how long though depends on the boss (and my back which is still very fragile)
Lenny will need a bit of a bath though and I'll have to dig out road runner.
The smallest orange sweatshirt I can find is size 6/7 years so may be a bit big for Lucas!
