its time, bulkhead

hello,
its come to that time where the bulkhead is shouting i hate you im going rusty and im going to leak rain water on your louder pedel foot. also the wiring is suffering badly from a previous owner deciding to install new wires but leave live wires with metal lumps on the end causing all sorts of hell, then i came along and didnt improve things at all,
heres the plan...
>strip and prep newerish bulkhead, including weld footwells up reinforced, im a little nervous after my tree incident

>remove pinkys bulkhead, floor pan, seats and floor panels and under seat metal bits

>remove that round protection bar from under the gear / transfer box

>build a platform under gear box, remove all of it resting it on the platform as its heavy and we dont have suitable jacks so by building a strong and stable platform we should be able to move pinky enough to get at clutch and crank shaft seal to change that and change the clutch while we are down there thats the scary bit

>put everything back togather, ( any other things we should do while down there? )

>put newerish bulkhead into place

>now read haynes manual for weeks on end, then make alot of notes and use the notes made while taking off the old bulk head to be able to fit the bulk head wiring loom in, then strip all but andyblokes pro wiring from pinky and properly rewire the lights and fuse panel, also fit a secure immobiliser after being inspired by tango 1's imobilising setup.

>put everything back togather and be hopefully happy that the wiring is neat, useable and reliable

>then remove and fit new rear body cappings (one side at a time)

>then sit back and relax

hopefully the finnsh date for all of that will be before the 24th august in time for a test run to the landy jumble, otherwise by the 9th of september in time to set off for the rally

i will be taking as many pictures as i possibly can do, please take the time to read through my progress and ring me if ive made a mistake or you have any advice ( on 07512626045 ) i will be very greatful for help and advise

well the prep on the bulk head has began,
interestingly so far most of the nuts and bolts have been in good condition so no need yet for the angle grinder
just some pictures before i start ...
heres whats going in, brough from ebay for £70 collection from local area with dash board complete and heater and clutch parts aswell as brake parts
and complete wiring loom...

Cheers Kieran, thanks anyway but they're going to do me a new one as was in seeing them today about it and organising a photograph as I've managed to book page 3 in one of our local papers next week for a story on our entry into Landy Rally
